WHAT WE DO:
Ecosystem of Clean Energy Services

Our Ecosystem of Services:

Creating Pathways into the Green Economy

California’s clean energy transition presents enormous opportunity- but opportunity alone does not guarantee participation. For communities, property owners, workers, and businesses to fully engage in the green economy, they need clarity, access, experience, and the ability to influence the systems shaping their future.

MREP CA’s Ecosystem of Clean Energy Services was intentionally designed to meet this moment.

Rooted in the four-phase framework of our Urban Sustainability Model, our ecosystem responds to the most pressing questions facing California’s clean energy transition:

  • What does living sustainably actually mean in everyday life?

  • Where do real opportunities and trusted resources exist?

  • How do individuals, organizations, and communities move from interest to action?

  • And how can policies and programs be shaped to ensure an equitable share in the green economy?

From Questions to Action

Rather than addressing these questions in isolation, MREP CA integrates them into a coordinated system of services that move people and communities forward- step by step.

Through our collaborative partnerships, community outreach initiatives, and sustainable development projects, we help residents, commercial property owners, students, and workers gain the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to fully engage in California’s clean energy transition.

Each offering within our ecosystem of clean energy services represents a distinct piece of the transition puzzle. On its own, each service provides value. When connected, they form a complete pathway that supports long-term engagement, economic participation, and sustainable outcomes.

This approach allows us to meet stakeholders wherever they are in their clean energy journey—whether they are just beginning to learn, seeking resources and opportunities, ready to implement solutions, or looking to advocate for lasting change.

Awareness:

Building Understanding

The first piece of the puzzle is understanding. Our awareness-focused services help individuals, organizations, and communities make sense of California’s clean energy goals, technologies, and opportunities.

Through education initiatives, public workshops, community outreach, and accessible learning resources, we help demystify clean energy- creating a foundation of knowledge that empowers informed decision-making and builds trust in the transition process.

Access

Connecting to Opportunity

Understanding must be paired with access. MREP CA’s access-oriented services connect stakeholders to the tools, programs, and opportunities needed to participate meaningfully in the green economy.

This includes access to workforce training and certification pathways, business development resources, sustainable financing options, and connections to local and state clean energy programs and incentives. Through community events, partnerships, and resource navigation, we help turn interest into opportunity.
